Across the sky and beyond~!~?

Are we alone?  Extraterrestrials, aliens, intelligent civilizations and UFO’s yet to be identified by human beings but staring down constantly and menacingly at the earthlings below have considerably robbed man of his peace and serenity.  What could exactly be their next likely move is nobody’s guess but the issues though vague and gigantic are also abstract and cumbersome and quite capable of posing a dilemma to human beings on the question of life, universe and its security.  Incidentally, at the present juncture man can hardly afford a star war by making good use of its razor sharp beams to annihilate the trespassers, since such a venture could jeopardize the impending plans and programs intended to explore the remaining planets or satellites as the case may be.  

Obviously, a priority for earthlings in the immediate context would be to dispatch a census team with expertise in the field of assessing the numbers from far without so much as even revealing the intentions, strategies or the stockpile of available ammunitions.  Needless to say the imminent or constant danger of a likely gatecrash by aliens on a peace loving human civilization safely tucked away in a far off planet called Earth looms large in the horizon. Would these extraterrestrials contemplate altering their course away from this dreary planet called Earth or will they shyly keep drifting off and on along far off skies to escape detection by human beings for many more centuries and keep the earthlings panicked for an indefinite period of time?

Weary of a monotonous life on a planet that opens up to a vista of infinite universe having complex dimensions and harboring as much myths and mysteries, unfolding unto an acutely measured finite intelligence, man is restless for innovation, excellence and an angelic perfection. He accepts the myths, mysteries and superficialities revolving around life and the endless domain of an infinite universe over which he alone has a deemed right to move around.  Nevertheless, he senses the pinch of having to contain his intense curiosity within the periphery of a solar system which hardly matches the millions of galaxies and similar solar systems staring on to a miniature world consisting of few planets that give company to man’s abode namely the earth!

Held back possibly by human nature and the vastness of this endless universe, man has been creating mysteries for himself on the topic of alien civilization!  In his eagerness to clinch that streak of innovation to life and aspects concerning the universe, man looks up for succor from divinity which eludes his imagination. Unable to obtain answers to puzzles engulfing his world of imagination, man resorts to floating rumors regarding alien civilization.

In effect, man is baffled by mysteries of mysterious dimension. Myths centered around UFO’s, extraterrestrial life, aliens, Bigfoot, abominable snowman, Sasquatch, loch ness monster, lake Champlain monster, Piltdown man, Roswell, Area 51, Antigravity aircraft, Crop circles, Bermuda Triangle and Life on Mars.

Wild guesses, imaginations, surmises, theories – they all go with the wind. The world is too large a force and human beings too finite a lot.  There is therefore, no way to provide answers to scores of puzzles confronting humanity. Depending wholly or partly on Science alone is a futile bid to satisfy human curiosity. With a finite world of fanciful imaginations raking up much of what could best be left to the creator to provide answers and solutions is, time and again, making man a victim of his own hallucinations.   Hence the only path left for human beings to set at naught the idiosyncrasies cascading copiously down in to a fortified citadel of human imaginations and conjectures is through guarded reasoning and divine inspiration!

Curiously though, human beings are apt at giving names, shapes and if required a blue-print as well to trace the course the aliens, extra-terrestrials or UFOs take to survey the earth’s crust. This adds a thrill to a totally monotonous life of adventures on an otherwise barren planet that is earth.  Incidentally, depending totally on Science to prove the veracity and movements of ghost elements across the sky o the universe would be asking too much of a depleted archive that man notably possesses. 

Obviously much of the theories and mammoth predictions regarding aliens and extraterrestrials hitherto fabricated, haunt man in to evading a direct access to these gigantic illusions for fear of a confrontation with a far more intelligent or better equipped beings.  As such, man is prompted to exercise caution on the issue of aliens to avoid any likely potential that could devastate the Earth.  Incidentally, much talk under gossip lingers on what might actually exist than less about what has fundamentally transpired through illusions and imaginations.

However, man is determined to unravel the mysteries through gossip and hearsay by keeping the intelligent beings aloof from contaminating the earth with destructive potential that could generate pernicious outcome to earthly beings.  However, curiosity apart, man is constrained to adopt a wait and watch approach before plunging headlong in to a furnace of eruptive predicaments.

More than a human touch to the topic of ‘other worlds’ or ‘extraterrestrials’, the subject would need divine inspiration which is unlikely to meet its demand.  Who then can provide succor to the intelligentsia of this inferior planet that could quell the overwhelming curiosity which intermittently captivates human beings and their reasoning?  The latest trend by people and astrologers around is to explode views in the form of news that predictably enhances the fictional wisdom of both young and old. So came up a new topic to chew upon, namely ‘UFO’s’.

Even after many centuries of research and explorations, man has miserably failed to find even a single form of life within the immediate precincts of the solar system. The latest episodes relayed by the Rover  instruments which landed on Mars on 6^th August, 2012, being the closest planet from Earth, has dashed all hopes or arguments of finding life or life form on the planet and in its stead merely expect to obtain data on rocks and its sediments. However, up till now none of the probes have revealed the existence of life on the planet or likely inputs which could envisage the existence of life anywhere around the solar system, what to speak of intelligent beings.

Are we alone?  This is one gigantic and immediate question which man has been grappling with ever since news and rumors got floated by individuals and groups, both reliable and unreliable, on the question of sightings of unidentified flying objects observed in the sky, to the utmost curiosity of sky-watchers and public alike.  Ever since the revelation of UFOs came to be floated during the last couple of decades or so, allegedly by scientists, stargazers and even by curious people from different walks of life, this rare but fascinating phenomenon has captivated the minds of humans to a large extent. There has also been an extraordinary hype created by rumormongers who swear by their own life the veracity and appearance of such intelligent and extra terrestrial beings that are said to be much more advanced than the earthly humans. 

All efforts to come in to contact with these alleged space-men or intelligent species have proved futile.  Nevertheless, more and more people have started taking considerable interest in the fantasy of these made-to-look-like aliens and their alleged spaceships scanning the skies with a purpose hitherto unknown to their earthly neighbors.  Instances of such recordings are, as of today, far less than the quantum of gossip. However, sightings of these mysterious objects date back to, it is so believed, as far back as the beginning of time – to put it more precisely – infinity, though this particular subject received publicity only till recently when newspapers started flashing news and accounts as confirmed by pilots, sky-watchers and space explorers.

Incidentally, despite much gossip and debates that follow rumors regarding UFO’s and extraterrestrials hovering in the skies and atmosphere over the earth, there have been no worthwhile inputs or convincing answers to the recurring question and phenomenon regarding aliens and intelligent civilization in the outer space.  So bewildering is the flight of human imagination and stories gathering with gossip and rumors about spaceships reportedly having been spotted over empty locations and far off skies or even alleged soft landings at places away from human habitation that even those who expound the theory of UFOs and their likely intentions set about by beating round the bush, giving reference to mythology, religious beliefs or even fanning the very fire they cannot put out.

It is indeed difficult to fathom the existence of intelligent beings elsewhere in the universe but it would also be peevish on our part to underplay the possibility and existence of such images elsewhere, since humans are yet to traverse the length and breadth of the universe as of now. Moreover, even by admitting, in part, the movement of such extra-terrestrial beings within or without our solar system, it would be too early for one to conclude the exact nature of their intent and purpose, which should, in fact, caution man from going all out after these alien movements. 

Due to poor visibility or on account of odd hours, it is believed that human eye or camera has not been able to capture the arrival and activities of these aliens or to detect the physical appearance of the extraterrestrials as alleged or their spaceship for correlating facts with incidents. However, one cannot discount the possibility and existence of such extra-terrestrials or their likely intent at keeping a low profile or maintaining a respectable distance away from earthlings since proximity to either of them is fraught with pernicious consequences.

However, what one might gather from the frequencies of such alien visits and related rumors on the part of earthlings is that either the world needs to stay awake to a new dawn of confrontation with a civilized lot or alternatively attach a wee bit of humor at the failed sequences of alien trips since last many centuries. Incidentally, it has added more monotony to the curious human beings for many decades now than less expenditure and fuel for the ill-planned trips that have resulted in unsuccessful itineraries and aborted attempts by visitors. 

Nevertheless, looking to the immensity and vastness of the rumors floated and the intricacies of the hype involved, which in effect surpass human comprehension, one needs to anticipate some sort of a message from either the visitors above or the guests below that could either spin a thriller or allow the humans to gloat over an error to finally set the ill timed judgment on course.  It is altogether another matter to be contemplated on the repercussions of a confrontation, whether the message comes from aliens above or the inquisitive human beings down below, the world definitely stands to lose if care is not taken to analyze the tidings so intended to be conveyed by visitors making shadowy depictions time and again. 

This becomes all the more essential owing to the frequency of such alien visits or reports so emanating from the general public. Moreover, it is of utmost importance for man to get deeper into these mysterious appearances, if any, to set at naught the truth about these sightings or hearsays on UFOs, so that the world may be acquainted with the exact nature and intent of these mysterious sightings. One may also add that the more one delves into the issue, the more astonishing views of diverse people would confound the situation. One must not also lose sight of the fact that man is yet to reach out to heights and horizons away from the tiny solar system that he is in, so that allowing the imagination to float around or beyond the skies that wrap the solar system can only add a dimension or two to the present state of man’s finiteness. Incidentally, as of now the intermittent headlines in newspapers or gossip by rumor-mongers only go to confuse the situation, so much so media goes agog time and again with full-page write-ups on one or the other of such encounters and the ecstasy dies down after the news is read, more on account of the abstract nature of the news or due to man’s inability to verify such matters.

Whenever such news items appear in newspapers, people sit with their eyes glued to paper reading away passionately with puzzled eyes and avid minds in the hope of collecting as much information on the encounter as possible, but on reaching the bottom of the paper they realize that their knowledge is back to where it was when they first started reading the piece. Still, the interest does not die down and they await another piece of installment on a related topic!  Do extra terrestrials really exist?

But sooth – can we really assure ourselves that no any form of life exists anywhere in the space?  

UFO sightings date back to as far back as 1561.  Despite much rumbling by people and elements humming on the same old topic of UFO sightings time and again, the alleged intelligent beings have not crossed over from space or planets for an interaction with the humans.  If the UFO’s are genuine and real, then the aliens surely would have an intent or curiosity to check in to earth atmosphere for acquiring knowledge.  In the absence of any conclusive evidence to establishing the existence of aliens as made out from time to time, It would seem a futile bid both on the part of earthlings to keep mounting a eerie suspense in the minds of human beings since it would hardly seem logic for alien or intelligent beings to appear and disappear after traversing for so many centuries all the length and breadth of the universe and after having crossed over from planets outside the solar system merely to view the Earth and return.

These intelligent beings – if they did exist – would surely have developed better techniques and attitude to interact with human beings or earthlings by now – say after more than 100 years to place at the least.

Moreover, aliens – even if they existed – would not wait for indefinite period in order to make contact with live beings across the universe since curiosity is everybody’s butter.  However, for last many centuries stories of UFO sightings have remained merely in the minds of people without them making the first move for which they started on a sojourn.

Man talks big but breaths heavy on the impending doom the universe is destined to absorb within its stride. All the record of phenomenal successes and inventions hitherto attained by human beings would lose their steam once the universe gets rocked by the eternal doom that is bound to strike the universe sooner or later.  Similar would also be the predicament of the aliens, if any, to have existed and become extinct without having achieved that for which they existed.

Incidentally, man is faking truth in to theories, illusions and imaginations. Theories are being cooked up to attain cheap fame, reputation and popularity. Theories of extraterrestrials are amazingly being blown up to suit imagination of finite beings, many of whom can hardly make both ends meet, but are mercilessly dragged in to gossip and myth at the cost of their own peril.

The greatest myth unfolded ever is the fact that man has survived for millions of years all in one piece, on a planet that hangs precariously suspended from nowhere, despite all odds staring at it.  Dangers not from its core alone but from outer space as well.  Is it therefore, possible to assume that a more intelligent being and an immensely better & sophisticated civilization make its appearance from nowhere at the very fag end of time and pace?       

Has man assumed so much of significance as to ignore the hand of a super human power who would necessarily have wrought all the wonders of creation?  Has man achieved the potential to spin theories of creation of an infinite universe of immense dimension and size merely by projecting a fanciful assumption?

Big Bang has all the ingredients of a remote myth and a bluff far more than a figment of imagination, where things are made to happen on its own for no specific reason at all.

Many crucial aspects of the ‘Big Bang’ theory advanced by Scientists and star gazers in order to explain away the formation of sun, stars and planets besides emergence of life on Earth have been debated for ages.  Despite various arguments advanced in support of and against the Big Bang theory, there is no conclusive evidence to clear the air of the mysteries haunting human beings.  Resultantly, the theory of big bang has been lying subsided with no definite clue to the origin of the universe and life.

Man has become an easy target for Scientists and star gazers to vaguely explain off the myth, mysteries and theories of evolution on earth.

Wild imagination of life and bacteria fossils as traced in the rocks alleged to have fallen from space is too superfluous an imagination and as much wild a claim vis-à-vis the truth of creation and the existence of the Almighty,  since the same life forms or organisms could have as well been picked up from the earthen crust or atmosphere as well.  Therefore, it is never a conclusive evidence to say that life form may have developed elsewhere on other planets or heavenly bodies and got transmitted to Earth.

Going by the Bible which alone proves to be the inspired text available to mankind, God Himself and personally created man without having recourse to an agent or angel to qualify His creation or add fins to His Omnipotence.  If man does occupy a place of extreme proximity to Almighty and His Grace, as is the case, then he would surely have been acquainted with existence of other beings elsewhere in the universe, if not of his own, at least through spontaneity of divine good. This has never happened. 

If we do accept Bible as the only Supreme and Holy Text inspired by God Himself, then we ought to also believe that, had there been intelligent or similar beings elsewhere in the universe, then such elements would not have merely kept flying about for amusement, rather they would surely have made contact with earthlings, which have not happened up till now. As such, it is best for human beings to allow the entire concept of UFO’s to rest within the archives of myth and mysteries. 

What the present day generation ought to lament about is that, despite man arriving at the threshold of a golden twenty-first century era, he is yet to identify the unidentified flying objects that are taking him farther away from the real element, the sole cause or to put it precisely that common cause which alone has the potential to remove barriers and boundaries that separate man from man, society from society, nation from nation and world from the universe! That common cause which has the wherewithal to impart the much needed unity in diversity, spirituality in times of mistrust and peace at all times.  His pace and haste are way apart from the common goal for which the universe came in to existence.

Corruption - a bait to fame - 1

The month of August is always auspicious for people and nation, but in a very special way for children, who manage to venture out free of encumbrances to run around flying kites and enjoying the heat of the season, forget all the ice creams and lollypops.  Ramdev also earned a few flying moments, quite reminiscing his younger days that took him close to 7^th class, when he too made a dart for the vain fame giving vent to his hollow attempts to fly around with corruption.

Ramdev’s educational kit hardly measures up to an 8^th class dropout.  Yet the temerity with which he acted foolish, ignorant and ill-educated by overstepping his own stature was reminiscent of the early ages when barbarity and plunder determined the ability of people and dynasties.  Those were days when kings and dynasties flourished at the cost of lowly human beings whose only livelihood lay in doing the bid of wealthy and powerful leaders.

His sudden outburst at the Central Government pointedly targeting a party of Indian National Congress fame amounted to rushing to execute the bid as stooge to opposition parties at the behest of the communal elements constantly gnawing in to the ethos and philosophy of the nation. His dubious tactics came to light when his pestilent activities received the support of communal parties, prominent among them being the BJP and their sympathizers.  What could be termed as a power struggle was the nod he received from other regional parties consisting of SP and BSP who too chipped in their own version of support.

There is no denying the fact that the opposition parties including those standing solidly behind the present government at the Centre are gruelingly aching to savour power by hook or by crook. The hordes of communal fanatics who accompanied Ramdev in his wake to hoot and applaud his call to oust Congress Party were a clear indication as to which way the needle pointed to.

Even so, within his mean intellect he awfully failed to portray what he himself was blurting out, quite unsure of his own limits and ignorant of what exactly he was blazing to depict through his pipe dream viz. ‘ousting the Indian National Congress’.  

He, Ramdev is quite ignorant of facts.  The nation holds the party (INC) in high esteem having the wholehearted support by a whopping majority all over the country. Moreover, Congress Party having widely acclaimed roots all over the country, is literally a spontaneous culmination of a sublime dream nurtured by scores of eminent intellectuals and leading luminaries of the land and handing out a challenge to the party would tantamount to treachery and conspiracy against the nation, the people and the constitution.  His vain attempt to erase a party from the national scene is reminiscent of many well educated and better equipped political stalwarts who had even earlier resorted to tarnishing its image but despite several summersaults had to ultimately fade away from the national scene in to obscurity and rejection. The INC has a better image than what Ramdev or his communal coterie might fancy.  Daring to toss the image of the largest single party in the country which the nation holds in high esteem and which party was nurtured, upheld and elected by billions of professed minds and respectable people and citizens of better worth, only showed up the narrow minded communal gang and an emaciated ignorant frame under Ramdev assuming scale levels that demand better education, culture and Godliness. This could be a singular act which Ramdev or his fanatics would hardly manage to achieve. Can Ramdev be termed a conspirator against the national leaders and the nation’s interests? A brief pause for contemplation by Ramdev himself!

Little did his emaciated frame know that the Indian National Congress was the edifice of hard work by millions of dedicated and learned men and women of vision, of wisdom and people who knew their mettle!

His attitude to overstep a government and his call to oust a national party like Congress (INC) does not portray even a mind of 8^th standard schooling he claims to have done, what to speak of imagining himself capable of ousting corruption or bringing back black money from abroad, so on and so forth.  His blunt brain does not even realize that all perilous evils plaguing the nation emanates from Hinduism which carries with it corruption (greed for money), extremism (dowry deaths), narrow-minded thought process or approach (their dream blitz called Hindustan) and many more evils all of which account for their hatred of Muslims (their sworn enemy), their ire which saw much riots and attacks on masjids, churches, rape of nuns, butchery of innocent priests and many more to their credit.  He joined hands with a people and party whose specifics point to destructive trends instead of adhering to a constructive approach for the betterment of the nation and a people. In short, Ramdev is forging a future in the company of people whose identity can hardly fetch a purpose.

Ramdev, for a change, would do better to steer out of his cave of animal wisdom and come face to face with a better world of peace and harmony, in states which house lakhs of Christians, Kerala being one, where people have always maintained peace and harmony. States where mind has not got corrupted and where one would not require communal elements to beat empty drums around for a call to oust the soul of the nation, the INC.  It is another matter that Communism did wreak havoc on the psyche of people in few states, on account of which, even to this day the people are yet to come out the trauma that left them unconscious of the eternal harm they were wreaking on the land, on the nation and on a peace loving people.

However, if Ramdev imagines his wealth or fame can eradicate the very evil which has made him one, he is only imposing a failed dream in to his life of fantacies.

People who undertake fast in the name of democratic rights are guilty of violating or breaking the peace of the land, of the people or of the constitution.

An indefinite fast cannot be termed peaceful. Even suicide is termed a crime as per law of the land.  A Constitution is no mere text to be bypassed; rather it is the embodiment of a collective resolve by 1.3 billion people (Indians) who honour the sacrosanct document as a guiding feature for the masses.  Dismembering its provisions under the garb of protest, disregarding the government put in place for a term of 5 years or subjecting the government to unnecessary strain, push and pull or diversion of its programmes, ought to be and need be held a grave crime amounting to provoking the people and opinion against provisions embodied therein, and as such, wholly and entirely guilty of demeaning the government held together by a Constitution adopted by the nation on the 26^th day of January, 1950. 

Moreover, such act of authritarianism, under the garb of peaceful protest, tantamount to hampering smooth functioning and working of general public, government departments and gross obstruction of government servants from adhering to duties earmarked by government or the Constitution. These irresponsible and negligent acts by people of mean intellect drain crores of rupees (much more than what an act of corruption could do to the nation) of public money including government working days, besides making public as much irresponsible as the very hoodlums blocking the passage of dialogue, which being the sole medium of resolving issues arising out of finiteness of human lapses. In a nutshell, such highhandedness by ordinary public and citizens ought to be deemed a pestilence fit to be construed as deliberately obstructing the government functioning, constitutional adherance and hampering of smooth follow up of people’s mandate, verdict of which was given by the election commission on 16^th may, 2009. 

Furthermore, such overtures by people with hardly a vision to take the 1.3 billion forward tantamount to robbing the peace, rest and right of the people in power, who are expected to abide by the dictum of a government, voted in place, in consolance with a constitution adopted by the nation on 26^th January, 1950.

Democracy is not a divine right handed over by the Supreme Being to a particular individual or group to wield power and influence over a government for usurping powers of the government or of the people, in the name of people’s welfare or people’s rights. In the present instance, these bunch of hard-to-yield members under Ramdev pretending to fight corruption in a country which is duly governed by an elected body of people’s representatives, is unnecessarily robbing the peace and harmony of the land and withholding the right of a people and country from abiding by the dictum of government laws, in consonance with a constitution the people adopted on 26^th January, 1950.

These acts under the hood of fighting corruption only enhance people’s power to become overcorrupt or overact to attempts made at pacifying the nation on crucial issues and menaces that plague the lives or hamper the smooth running of a government in power. Flinging aspersions on government or individuals is as much as taking law in to public hands with vested interests, which cannot be condoned as a populist measure or divine ordained right to deal out justice or to cause to deal out a judgement.  As for the rest, the nation does have courts for redressal of people’s grievances which is the only medium of public protest.

People like Hazare or Ramdev, with little or no education to their credit but daring to circumvent facts to belittle a government, the elected representatives or dignitaries entitled to supreme respect, ought to know that the nation has a very obscure and dubious past which does not speak well of its own people and history of old.  And in this arena, he too is a party to corruption as he also descends from the Aryan tribe. 

Much blunder has been committed during the early ages which cannot be repeated.  It may be recollected that during the early ages when Dravidians crossed over from the Indus valley in to the northern regions for settling there, the land was an arid waste with shrubs and infertile soil. But through the sweat of their brow they eaked out a living by tilling the soil and taming cattle. Those were days when they neither had a religion to rely on, nor a government to cater to their needs. However, with firm faith in their ability to rely on nature and its produce, they kept up their bid to live and let live hordes of other people like themselves who too made a living through hard work and the sweat of their brow. Unfortunately, it did not take them long to understand that their peaceful existence could be shattered by a hostile people called Aryans who descended upon them, driving them out of their settlements.

The Dravidians had to flee the northern territories to finally settle down in the south. Today they are a highly disciplined lot unlike the Aryans who even today are unable to bridle their arrogance, their meanness, their greed for wealth. Hazare and Ramdev too are descendants of the very same race namely the Aryans, who being corrupt to the core, would hardly wish the good of another.  Does history carry any meaning to the present day corruption?  Or, can Hazare and Ramdev carry away a sublime lesson to live not by the past but by the 21^st century future!

People, like Hazare and Ramdev, who dare to assume extra-constitutional or divine powers to enforce unilateral decisions on a people or government, unbecoming of a world that has advanced up to a 21^st century era and still making giant strides on all fronts must read in to their own folly of indulging in barbarity and indiscipline.  These blurred minds must awaken to a new era of advanced technology and sophisticated approach.

Even terming a government or a particular functionary of governt as corrupt is wielding non-existent immunity or defying one’s own conscience. They ought to know that the present government is a directly descended entity of the Indian National Congress and its break-away groups who have collectively held aloft the ethos and rationale of a nation that was built up from the scratches of barbarity and chaos. As such, any offensive course such as the one adopted by these ignorant elements amount to misguiding the public and hampering smooth functioning of a government and the nation and therefore, guilty of a crime which attracts punitive measures to bridle their arrogance, waywardness and conspiracy against the government, the constitution and a silent people who have elected them to their respective position. 

Founded on 28-12-1885, the INC or the Indian National Congress rose to be a major player in defining independence movement, which culminated with the nation achieving its objective on 15th August, 1947. Common man, whether educated or illiterate across the country, needs to accept that this organization came to be unified under one platform primarily with a view to fight colonial rule of the British Empire. Since the start of independence movement, there would have been much untoward happenings, both on the part of British who then held the administration or by the natives who were determined to fight the British for clinching independence from the foreigners. In the process, whatever the guilt or crimes committed by either side, was either censored or underestimated or even unrecorded because the primary objective of the Indian masses who held the advantage of being sons of the soil was to drive the british out by hook or by crook. There is therefore, no doubt that during the entire span of nearly 200 years, much butchery would have been carried out by either of the groups which would have been overlooked by way of sympathy for the cause of the former and the administrative duty of the latter. Accordingly, in such a state of rivalry, much of what the natives suffered were highlighted in bold whereas the evil or the agony heaped by the natives on the British were either ignored or underestimated.

While dwelling on this particular topic, a crucial fact which escapes everyone’s notice is that the British who carried out orders of the administration were either doing their duty or even if acted crude by riding rough shod over a highly invigorated mob. Much of what British did, they did so after having been driven to the wall by the natives who were more vengeful than fighting for a right. We need to remember that the British would have been more disciplined than the natives who fought in random groups to stave off any threat from British commanders. Accordingly, the acts committed by the natives were more under personal vengeance or to pay back in terms of what they would have been brainwashed by individuals and groups for attaining their ends. Ultimately, independence was achieved at the behest of a dialogue started between the natives and the British. However, the nation failed to accept the truth that the British rather than letting loose their ammunitions to wipe the population and country out, merely decided through a supremely ordained conscience vote that they must leave the country without any further bloodshed. Can Indian community accept this largeheartedness of the British? Till today this fact is yet to seep down under in to the bowls of Indians.

British were magnanimous in holding out the olive branch to finally pronounce India independent without their resorting to largescale killing and maiming of masses and the public for which there was no dearth of guns and ammunitions. In such an event, they could have wiped out even a majority of the natives and ruthlessly stayed on to rule the country. But instead, they decided that India belonged to the natives and it was incumbent upon them to hand over power and leave. We fail to acknowledge this one act of the British and always hold our own flag high without imagining others to be humans as well like ourselves.

Where then does corruption originate?  It also indicates a serious lapse within the Indian mindset which exhibits more of a selfish attitude within Indians than the show of patriotism manifested in their overall acts and deeds.

Even today, every Indian runs for money and be it through film world or through cricket, the greed for money has never satiated their less virtuous lives to abide by a dictum of their own conscience.  The recent instances of match-fixing or kidnapping for extraction of money is quite relevant here.  Moreover, despite the nation having sufficient hospitals and doctors, the country has no dearth of people impersonating as doctors and disbursing medicines and consultancy services to patients who flock ignorant of the hood worn by these compounders and criminals.

If a thorough check of people and individuals are made, much would come to light on the extreme corruption resorted to by every one including those crying hoarse on corruption.

After Kisan Baburao Hazare, now Ramdev has thrown his hat in the ring in an attempt to rid the nation of a menace viz. corruption. The nation, in a very special manner, needs to be reminded that the particular instinct to amass wealth by people is but an innate characteristic apparent in every individual or read every Indian. No man is ever satisfied with his share of income and it is wholly natural and characteristic of people and citizens to enhance their position by earning extra amounts through dubious means.  All irrespective of any particular individual nurse an ambition to stock money and riches for future needs, looking to the increasing need of one’s family or for leading a comfortable or luxurious life, now and till the end of time. To this end, it would be natural that everyone would grab money through whatever ways or sources one can for increasing his bank balance.

Even Ramdev is no exception in this particular area of mischief.  The very fact that Ramdev too is amassing wealth under the garb of medication and yoga exercises, which has not had the final say from the Almighty, whose Holy Will even today is making people succumb to the ultimate finale which is death.  The nation is also not in a dearth of medical facilities and qualified doctors all across the country.  Whereas, Ramdev cannot be pointed out as a better qualified doctor with operational facilities in case of demand, adept at safeguarding the health and welfare of people and nation at large.  Furthermore, any little bit of relief that people assert as being on account of his yoga exercises cannot by itself be counted as meriting sole advantage due to and on behalf of Ramdev only, because he is himself a below standard person with hardly any qualification (8^th standard) to his credit. 

Incidentally, the nation is being pulled down its climb to self sufficiency by people of lesser education such as Hazare earlier and now Ramdev, which tendency to pitch the nation against all future prospects of a progressive rise needs to be seen as mimicking being done first by Hazare and now by Ramdev.

This man Ramdev, who claims to be an expert in the field of yoga cure for various ailments and goes about under the garb of a Hindu sage, which exhibits his meanness in focusing his body and mind to a particular religious belief or faith and as such not trustworthy by a nation and people, India being a nation of diverse people and customs.  Moreover, his antecedents, his integrity, his past-present-&-future life etc etc are all shrouded in an otherwise hazy and suspicious profession not confirmed through education or research. His undertaking a fast ought therefore, be seen as overruling the stretches of a constitution the nation adopted on 26^th January, 1950.

  

Slap a strong deterrent & criminal case against Ramdev and his coterie, including his followers for deliberate obstruction of government functioning, constitutional adherance and hampering of smooth follow up of people’s mandate, verdict of which was given by the Election Commission on 16^th may, 2009.
